What a March we've had! The first British winner at the Cheltenham Festival fuelled by Baillie Haylage, BETA NOPS & FEMAS and the start of fertiliser.
The Cheltenham Festival always brings an exciting start to March, but even more so when the first British winner of the week was a customer of ours! Chianti Classico, trained by Kim Bailey, ran a fantastic race and was the perfect example of a healthy racehorse. It is always great to see Baillie Haylage fed horses performing at their best - the proof is in the pudding!
Towards the end of the month, we had our annual BETA NOPS & FEMAS Audits. These are an important process for us and our customers. The accreditation certifies our stringent quality processes, care and attention to detail in making a top quality forage that horse owners can trust.

In between dodging the rain, the farm team also managed to begin our fertiliser applications. This is an important process to ensure the grass has sufficient nutrients to grow a good quality and yielding crop, particularly after a winter like this one!
