Whilst we have been waiting for a long enough dry spell, our team has been inspecting our fields to ensure they are in top condition for the first cut of the season. They are looking out for and taking away any litter that may have come from road sides, and any branches that may have come from hedge rows or overhanging trees. Secondly, they also look out for any Naturally Occurring Prohibited Substances. The traceability and quality of our haylage begin in the field, and our rigorous checks are crucial for maintaining the high standards our customers expect. Despite the challenges posed by the weather, our fields are looking fantastic with potentially very good yields.
Here at Baillie Haylage we are proud to supply customers from all cross sections of equestrian sport.
May saw the jump racing season come to a close. It has been exciting for us to follow Kim Bailey Racing throughout the season and what a great one it was.
Likewise, the start of the flat racing has been equally interesting with two of our customers in Newmarket featuring in a wonderful series from Racing TV (see video here or below).
It was wonderful to see our customers competing in showing and showjumping at The Royal Windsor Horse Show. Congratulations to all!
