It was a busy and wet November here at Baillie Haylage HQ the time had come around again for both Trading Standards and FEMAS inspections.

All the staff here work very hard to ensure that Baillie Haylage meets all the correct standards and more.

FEMAS is the Feed Materials Assurance Scheme and covers all feed ingredients that is intended to be directly fed to animals or found in compound feeds or blends. This scheme is audited and certified and is carried our yearly to ensure that the standards required are carried out consistently and fairly.

This means that Baillie Haylage is:

• Ensuring we are complying with regulations
• Earning recognition
• Supplying safe feed to our customers
