Celebrating 30 Years of Baillie Haylage

What's New

February 2026

Haylage

February — just as wet as January, but thankfully a little shorter! Despite the relentless weather, it’s been another busy month here at Baillie Haylage. With our order book full and customers relying on us to keep their yards stocked, the team has been working hard to keep deliveries moving.

While lower stock levels have brought their challenges, we’re continuing to do everything we can to maintain supply — and our lorries certainly haven’t slowed down. We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and patience during this demanding season.

Brocklesby Hunt Point-to-Point

We were delighted to once again support the Brocklesby Hunt P2P. In the lead-up to the event, the wet weather caused understandable concern, but thankfully the day itself stayed dry and delivered a fantastic atmosphere for all involved.

Congratulations to Bridget Skelton and all connections of Midnight River, who claimed victory in the feature Baillie Haylage Mixed Open Race. The impressive 11-year-old gelding, expertly ridden by Heidi Palin, led the field and finished strongly to secure the win.

A huge thank you to the organisers and volunteers whose hard work makes this much-loved event possible year after year.

Sophie Wells OBE Dressage

We also caught up with Sophie Wells this month to hear about her recent regional competitions, her plans for the upcoming qualifiers, and what the year ahead looks like.

We’ve answered your questions too — and we’ll be sharing the full interviews and videos over the coming weeks on our Facebook page. Keep an eye out for updates!
