Despite the continued wet weather, February has been an exciting month for us here at Baillie Haylage!

We have welcomed Sophie Wells OBE - Paralympic, World and European Gold Medallist Dressage Rider, to the team.

There is not enough space here to list all of Sophie's successes but here are a small number of them:

• Gold medals at the European and World Championships 2010
• Gold medals at the London Paralympic Games 2012
• Individual Gold medal at the Rio Paralympic Games 2016

The list goes on... also for each horse that Sophie has trained. She is also well renowned as a fantastic coach, with students also successfully competing at European Championships.

Having visited her at home in Lincolnshire, the love, care and bond she has with her horses is overwhelming and we looking forward to watching her continued success. Stay tuned for chats and tips that we have with Sophie, we certainly can all learn a lot from her!

Another highlight of February was sponsoring the Brocklesby Races! The Baillie Haylage Open Race winner was the 2023 Cheltenham Festival Challenge Cup Hunter Chase winner Premier Magic. It was a very well run race by all, with Salty Boy coming in second and Manwell in third. Well done to all those who make this fantastic day possible.
