July has brought us second cut success & sporting triumphs!

July kicked off with ideal weather, perfect for our second haylage cut. The dry conditions allowed us to get the job done efficiently, and we’re thrilled with the results so far.

In the meantime, each batch of haylage from first cut has been sampled for nutritional analysis, ensuring we can provide the right match for every horse. With great growing and harvesting conditions, the nutritional results have been fantastic. This testing gives our customers confidence in the quality of what they’re feeding.

In other exciting news, the Olympics gave us plenty to cheer about! Team GB’s equestrian athletes were on top form. We saw a team gold and a women’s individual bronze in eventing, a team bronze and individual bronze in dressage, and a team gold in showjumping. Congratulations to all the athletes!

We also had the pleasure of being a sponsor at The Dodson & Horrell Equine Grassroots Championships at Arena UK. It was fantastic to meet so many competitors in the stables and chat about our haylage. Some were familiar faces who have been customers for a while, while others were trying
our haylage for the first time. We love hearing how it’s working for everyone’s horses!
